Plant Maintenance Department

Plant Organisation
  • Plant Organization is responsible for maintenance of M&Ps in workshop including procurement of requisite spares & consumables. It also executes liasoning work with Indentor, COFMOW, Zonal Railways & Railway Board for procurement of M&Ps under M&P Programme along with preparation of Budget under Plan Head 4100 & necessary up-keep of funds for such M&Ps.

 

 
Dy. Chief Electrical Engineer/ES & Plant
  • Over-all In-charge of Plant Organisation.
  • Working as Factory Occupier, under The Factory Act.
Works Manager/Plant
  • Maintenance of M&P assets in PLW shops along with planning (including local/ emergent procurement & repair) of spares & consumables required to maintain these assets.
  • Working as Factory Manager, under The Factory Act.
Assistant Works Manager/M&P
  • Liasoning with Indentor, COFMOW, Zonal Railways, Railway Board & Firms regarding procurement of M&Ps for whole PLW (under PH 4100, M&P Programme).
  • Preparation of Budget & up-keeping of Funds for procurement of M&Ps for PLW (under Plan Head 4100).
Assistant Works Manager/Plant-2
  • Procurement of spares & consumables (under PH 7200) for Plant Organisation for maintenance of M&P Assets.
  • Officer Incharge of Central Maintenance Shop (CMS) & Crane Section.
  • Also working as Energy Manager (Non-electrical).
