Sh. Rajesh Mohan is the Principal Chief Administrative Officer (PCAO) of Patiala Locomotive Works (PLW), Patiala. A distinguished officer of the Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE) from the 1986 batch, he has had an illustrious career spanning decades, significantly contributing to the development of Indian Railways.
Sh. Mohan holds a B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IITK), and an M.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IITD). He joined the Indian Railways in 1989 and has since held several key positions across various railway zones.

Before taking charge as PCAO at PLW on 24th March 2025, he served as Principal Executive Director (Traction Installation) at RDSO, Lucknow.
Throughout his career, Sh. Mohan has made significant contributions toward modernization, efficiency, and infrastructure development in Indian Railways. His exceptional service has been recognized with multiple awards and accolades.
As PCAO of PLW, he has pledged his dedication to taking PLW to new heights in locomotive manufacturing and railway development. He has assured that under his leadership, PLW will meet and exceed all targets set by the Railway Board, reinforcing its vital role in Indian Railways’ progress.
